Goals and Objectives
Rupali Bank Training Academy is established for framing training plan of the bank and implementing the same both physically and virtually depending on the nature of the trainings and topics. The Academy is bestowed with the responsibility of formulating and designing course curriculum, preparing reading materials, fixing course contents for imparting knowledge to the employees of the bank. The Academy also organizes and coordinates outreach training program and workshops at divisional levels. RBTA conducts trainings through specific training schedule on overall area of banking and management for the purpose of enhancing professional efficiency of all staffs, officers, managers and executives. In the same manner, Orientation and Foundation trainings are also designed for the newly recruited staff member and officers to develop their professional knowledge and skills. Simultaneously RBTA conducts workshops, seminars and conferences on different contemporary issues for top executives and experienced bankers for their capacity building, leadership development and overall development and welfare of the bank and society as well. The training academy gives emphasis on new issues, courses, methods and technologies of training to cope with the ever changing environment of banking activities. To achieve the said purpose RBTA prepares academic calendar at the onset of every year and arranges courses with meticulous assessment of training need and requirement.
In the passage of time the get-up and environment of RBTA has become more eye-catching, equipped with state of art modern technology. Now RBTA has become more trainee-trainer-friendly for both learning and teaching. Some of the innovations are worth mentioning such as, knowledgeable, dynamic, smart and far sighted principal, experienced faculty members, sophisticated class rooms, modern computer labs, seminar room, rich library and sufficient residential facilities for the participants etc. Continuous effort is going on for improvement of the quality of training and overall environmental development.
Moreover, The former and honorable running Secretary from different Ministries, The former Governor and Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, The Director General and senior faculties of BIBM, present and former Chairman, The Directors and Managing directors of different banks and financial institutions, The Chairman of Public Service Commission, The Director General, The Directors & Secretary of Anti-Corruption Commission and few other outside resource persons of great reputation are invited to deliver their valuable speeches and to share their ideas, thoughts, beliefs and philosophy on trainings and workshops that help to enhance the glory of the academy and reputation of the bank at the same time.
Principals and faculties of different government and private bank’s training centers are also invited to conduct sessions with a view to sharing inter-bank experiences among the trainees. Subject based reading materials are supplied to the participants for aiding their learning. Evaluation of the participants are regularly conducted in the mid or after completion of each training in different ways both quiz, multiple choice question, single words answer, written exam, presentation and assignment preparation.
